Big Hammer hand-poured 5 1/2″ swimbaits are perfect for halibut fishing. White swimbaits imitate squid and drive halibut crazy! Lure can be fished both weedless and open hook. Cast into the surf and slowly retrieve toward shore. Reel and lift as soon as you feel a bite. Dark colors work best in low light situations with clear and bright colors working best under high sun. A bit of hot sauce (del taco, taco bell, anchovy/sardine paste, etc.) spread on the side of the lure will enhance bites. You’ll find matching Big Hammer 1 ounce leadheads work best with this lure.
